Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi, I have a 2004 Carrera. The heater core definitely needs to be replaced. Has anyone had an issue getting the right part. I have ordered the Valero OEM part and it doesnt fit. It doesnt even match the pictures they show. I have tried other manufacturers but no luck. Anyone experience this issue. This is the installed heater core. This is what gets sent to me even though the websites say it fits my car any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks

POST 2Original post

Does it fit in the box? Are the outlets the same? Does the different coil configuration mean that it doesn't fit right in the box? I've replaced dozen of Valeo cores, and I've seem plenty of variability in design and construction. If it fits, it ships.

POST 3Original post
