Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey guys (and gals), Im currently trying to track down my fathers 2002 911, I have the vin (WPOAA29912S621429), but no pictures unfortunately. I know this is probably a crapshoot but I need to at least try. If anyone has any information about its whereabouts it would mean the world to me. It was the last 911 he ever owned and I would really love to know where it is now and perhaps even see it again even if its only in the form of a picture. Thanks!

POST 2Original post

FWIW the correct VIN is WP 0 AA29912S621429. Good luck! edit: I tried searching cars with your father's build options on rennlist but didn't have any luck. You might want to pull a Carfax and at least that will give you an idea of where the car is. I'd join regional P-car FB groups/etc and ask around. Not a super common spec so it should be pretty easy to recognize when you find it. Prod Month: 2001-11-01 VIN: WP0AA29912S621429 Price: $76,985.00 Exterior: Lapis Blue Metallic Interior: Graphite Grey Partial Leather Warranty Start: February 28, 2002 BASE Porsche Base Model 411 18" Lt Alloy Carrera Wheel 446 Wheel Caps with Colored Crest 476 Porsche Stability Management CW Graphite Grey Partial Leather E3 Lapis Blue Metallic M6F Metropol Blue Floor Mat P02 Technic Package P14 Heated Front Seats Package P71 Design Package Z34 Deviating Carpet Color edit2: looks like it was last titled in PA, around 2007. Car does not appear to have been totaled.

POST 4Original post

Man I hope you find it and maybe cross posting on the regional area.

POST 5Original post

Well... I'll be honest, I'm glad it isn't me who has to tell you you can't have your dad's car back. Good luck with the hunt!

POST 6Original post

car was imported to canada in 2008. no services to report since September 2017. Last service in 2017 was in Oshawa, Ontario. I assume it was sold to someone outside of Ontario, as not all provinces participate with carfax.

POST 7Original post

Some Canadian mods over in the 996 turbo forum that may have some resources you can turn to

POST 8Original post

Did you run a CarFax on it? CarFax might clue you in to buyer locations, service shops - many of which will not disclose details about the car, but some will. And when that happens, you can Google peoples names, reverse phone number lookups, mortgage info based on addresses, etc. It might sound creepy, but only if you are trying to be a creepy/sneaky person. You are just trying to find a vehicle. Its amazing how much stuff is online these days.
