Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

You have two options: (1) dig into all that Secondary Air Injection (SAI) crap, replace most of the components, or (2) send your DME/ECU to the ECU doctors and have it reflashed to ROW (rest of world).

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Well, after a long and fun filled 60 days of ownership, I have been visited by the CEL fairy. Running diagnostic shows codes P0410 and P1411, which, from what I've read have more to do with emissions than anything. The MAF and and AOS have been replaced within the last 5 years, so Im thinking vacuum lines, o2 sensors, check valves, anything else I should replace? My main concern is driving the car and causing further damage. Could the underlying issue be something else not related to emissions? This is not my daily, so I'd prefer to handle this issue when I replace the water pump next year.

POST 2Original post

You can clear the codes...nothing will happen. Check out this thread https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...lp-needed.html

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Awesome, just reset the codes and I'm off!

POST 4Original post

You have two options: (1) dig into all that Secondary Air Injection (SAI) crap, replace most of the components, or (2) send your DME/ECU to the ECU doctors and have it reflashed to ROW (rest of world). The ROW flash ignores any SAI errors. USA (and maybe Canada) are the only cars programmed for SAI faults.
