Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Brutal, I had the same issue with my B6s, the order for the rears finally got filled a month ago.
Leading evidence: 'Fill month ago' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'rear tires' (1 discussions; 0 report identifying it and 1 suggest it). The most frequently discussed action is 'Fill month ago' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Can't fairly assess them with the suspect rear tires on the car right now.

Suggestion
I am in New Hampshire and have been running with H&R springs and B8’s for a few years and the ride and handling has been great.

Just ordered a full set for my b6 s4 Avant and I asked the rep.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I ordered a set of Bilstein B4 from Summit Racing last September.
I received the fronts immediately and have been waiting for the rears since. We are talking 7 months now.
They keep pushing back the ship date by 2-3 days at a time. As of today it is 4-6-20.
From what I'm hearing , this is not limited to Porsche shocks I've yet to install the fronts.
Summit says they will work with me if I decide to return them.
I'd like to keep my car with stock height and suspension. Are there other manufacturers with similar to OE stock shocks?
My car is a '99 C2.
I bought a set of B8s in September of 2018 and didn't get the rears until April 2019. Bilstein seems to have a backlog due to their OEM shock production (at least from what I've read/heard) when asking around. If you want something that uses the stock springs and works well, I would look at Koni. I bought sets of Konis in 2018 for my VW and Toyota and had them delivered right away.
I think they are all pretty much drop-shipped so even if something is listed in stock, it might be months for the wait on the Bilsteins.
I ordered a set of B8s and had the same issue. I called tirerack to see if, although their site said in stock if the shipment would be delayed, they happened to have gotten a shipment that day and I snagged a set. Call around..
Ill have a set of Bilstein B8s and H&R sport springs for 99-2001 C4 up for sale in a few weeks - they have around 10k miles on them. Pm me if interested.
Just ordered a full set for my b6 s4 Avant and I asked the rep. They had 16 sets in stock and had recently bought from sources other than Bilstein USA. He acknowledged the issue has been there for about 2 years and said they are thinner on p-car parts but do have stock. He said call and ask what they actually have on the shelves and the rep will tell you.

I am in New Hampshire and have been running with H&R springs and B8’s for a few years and the ride and handling has been great. No issues over rough roads. Just putting in my 2 cents.
You have Feals? 441 or 441+? If so, how do you like them? I have the 441 and my verdict on them is suspended until I get my new tires later this week. Can't fairly assess them with the suspect rear tires on the car right now.
Brutal, I had the same issue with my B6s, the order for the rears finally got filled a month ago. My shop said it is a chronic problem, he races miatas and said they gave up on Bilstein long ago
