Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Thanks, I used the same color that I did on the rims, gives it a nice affect.

I just ordered a set in black and used ZU042010 promo code for a 20% discount.

Suggestion
Most of this stuff was between, indicating that some cleaning may well have been done previously but without removing the front bumper (which isn't all that difficult)

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I also found a coupon code ZU041510 that worked for 15% off.
Has anyone every used this mesh grille company? I liked the fact they were installed in front without removing the bumper.

Second question...what do you think, stainless or black on an Artic Silver C2?
Never seen this one before, but I do like the idea, for sure. Especially, the outside, easier (?) install. My choice would be black, of course....is there a US distributor, or only available in the UK, as I am interested.
I read some positive reviews on the 997 boards. I also found a coupon code ZU041510 that worked for 15% off. I took the plunge for the stainless...figure if it looks like hell I will paint black.
Couldn't find any local suppliers that had the 996 ones in stock. All in including shipping was $222.
Haha, the best part was the guy that gave me the idea on this supplier was 64 years old! Plus, this white boy is rollin' on factory 17s and lovin every minute!
I bought my mesh screens from Pep Boys. They are aluminum for about $40. Then I took them and had them powder coated flat black. I pick them up tomorrow or Tuesday
I'll post an after photo.
I would also suggest McNichols Aluminum mesh @
www.mcnichols.com
I bought directly from ZunSport via web page. They are UK based.

Cost was less than $150, don't remember exact price, but the fit very nice, just pop in.
I'm in, ordered (black one) last night. We'll see how long it takes to get here and what they look like once they arrive and installed. I will take a pix, too. This is a perfect way to keep out leaves, rocks and track debris.
Just installed yesterday! I must say I like them very much and I think the stainless looks sharp with the Artic Silver. Took a total of 5 minutes to install and I'm quite pleased! Amazingly, it shipped in only 4 days from the UK.

Got mine in three days from Zunsport, nice product, easy install, hopefully will keep some crap out in front of the radiators. 996 is ten yrs old and had 2 handfuls of leaves, dirt, butts.
Think about it first
Do you really think that the
Screen won't block some of the air-flow ?
Even if each strand is 1/16
Add them all up and that's the
Size of your blockage
This is a stupid car trick
Got mine, (FEDEX) from UK in about 4 days, excellent service! As others have said, super easy install. I added a zip tie, not the prettiest, but need to make sure they don't come off at the track. pix to follow. Thankx for the heads up!
Here is my 2003 with zunsport grill in matte black.
I ordered

in the uk and have to say that their customer services are world class.
I ordered the pre-facelift version by mistake and after explaining what I needed they sent me the right face-lifted version on a exchange basis.
Excellent services!
ps. and personally I think it looks great .....
I keep going back and forth. Sometimes I like the look and then other times I'm ready to paint it flat black or remove. I just don't love the front of the car with nothing. At least if I change my mind it takes 15 seconds to remove!
This type of mod is all personal taste. I personally think it looks better without them not to mention you will be blocking some of the air flow. If you worried about debris building up on the rads just clean them once/year. If your looking to change the look of the front end maybe invest in the aero front bumper. In my opinion the aero bumper looks much better.
That's not exactly the way aerodynamics works.
The devil is in the details with regards to the obstruction and distance from obstruction to where its measured.
Some obstructions actually increase or decrease airflow, depending upon the size and shape.
I'd wait to hear back from owners who have done this in a hot environment to see what their observed results are. I suspect it doesn't do too much, either way, and is a pure aesthetic.
Had a change of heart on those silver grille inserts, the more I stared at them, they tackier they looked. Decided to paint them anthracite. Much cleaner now in my opinion. These pics aren't that great, but in person it's unique while still being discrete.
like it better this way as well. still considering buying the black ones from zunsport.
for the exhaust tips, not sure plastidip will do well on them...? (heat)
I just ordered a set in black and used ZU042010 promo code for a 20% discount. Total price to USA after discount and with shipping was $185. ( If I am charged duty I will adjust final price)
I got a zunsport grill for my C4S , but not easy installation.
I need to remove the black trim to replace with zunsport grill.
Anybody teach me how to remove the trim ?
Dead effin right I do. Grills and DRLS total cost $14 YES you read correctly $14 total cost. They are stainless and have been in there at least a year now. The gutter guards I got from a local hardware store and not Home Depo.
Some of you guys have more money than sense.
Dead effin right it is. Spatula total cost $12.99 YES you read correctly $12.99 total cost. It is stainless and has been in use at least a year now. The burgers I got from a local meat store and not Home Depo. Some of you guys have more money than sense!
exactly the same material the gutter guards people are using. One day I may do the middle part for another $5. I didn't see much point at the time as that part is not an air intake.
Just finished mine with the inclusion of LED DRL's.
....and illuminated DRL's....
.....and here's 12 years worth of debris that was in front of and between the radiator and condenser. Most of this stuff was between, indicating that some cleaning may well have been done previously but without removing the front bumper (which isn't all that difficult)
This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
