Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Anyone know if these grills fit a 40th AE and if so, anyone happen to have pics? Would love to see them installed! Sorry if this is asked before but I cant seem to find an answer anywhere!

POST 2Original post

If bumper is the same as an '04 996 it will fit - I have one in SS and it looks great and keeps crap out of your radiators. Very easy 20 minute install. They are very good about replying to email, so ask them about fitment and look at their web photos.

POST 5Original post

Not my taste either. Sure you didn't want a Chrysler 300 (not that there is any issue with that)

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Definitely not the chrome, but I've seen pics on another forum with the black grills and it looks totally different.

POST 8Original post

Try painting or plastic outing the gills flat black. I looked at the same grills and in the end just too ricer for me.

POST 9Original post

I bought them in black and with the black car it looks, okay. They do serve their purpose. Very easy to install, drill two tiny little holes. I added a zip tie, so they don't come off at the track. I can take a few picks and post them if you need to see what they look like.

POST 11Original post

sh*t, actually not bad, at least on a red car. I stand corrected. Not sure how it would look on the GT silver of the 40th anniversary though

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

trying to find the pics I found of it on a silver car but cant for the life of me yet...

POST 13Original post

Why not just put some fine mesh behind the factory grills? Like window screen mesh? It's practically invisible.

POST 14Original post

FLAT BLACK PAINT LIKE YODA888's is what I am doing. Actually, I may use flat black plasticoat.

POST 15 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yeah thats another good option

mp614, what was the source of this picture? I am trying to find more pics and/or install instructions for these

POST 17Original post

I do like it on red. And that front lip is NICE.

POST 18Original post

Hi, I got a zunsport grill mesh , but I don't know how to remove the black trim in the inlet. Anybody help me to remove it not ripping it apart ?
