Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

13 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Need to replace the mufflers on my 04 C4S, which presently has the original Porsche Sports Exhaust (PSE). Has anyone done it? And if so, what product did you use? Thanks.

POST 2Original post

Check out this FABSPEED unit. I found it on eBay for $795. I think that the seller on this unit might even be Fabspeed - under a different name (?) Normal price is about $2100. My guess is that it is a returned item - ? http://www.ebay.com/itm/272116523994?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

POST 5Original post

I have a set of Fister'd Techart cans if you want.

POST 6Original post

I have fabspeeds on my 4S, they are not as good sounding as the PSE exhaust and have no button to turn on/off. But they do sound good specially combined with 200 cell cats. They also weight a lot less the stock and pse. A lot less expensive. The stock or pse exhaust seems very long lasting, why do you need to replace it so soon?

POST 7Original post

For what it's worth, I put Tubis on instead. BRAAAAAAP!

Are these louder than Fabspeed? I've been kicking around adding a little attitude to my 05 C4S.....

POST 9Original post

Luckily, I did take a video before I swapped them for the Tubis. Porsche 996 C4S with Fister'd Techart Exhaust - YouTube

POST 10Original post

Any subjective comparisions between the Fisker D stock cans and the CarGraphic mufflers?

POST 11Original post

Quotes source post: 12962556

Much louder than stock...... Sounds great though. What made you start looking for another sound? Right now mine is completely stock and fairly quite unless I lay into it.

Im in the same boat as him. My pse mufflers is apparently very rusted/one of the valves are stuck open, as well as my cats. It sucks because I like the ability being able to turn it off and on. I just bought a set of used fabspeed mufflers, but I'm just unsure of which direction to go to...

POST 13Original post

I got a great deal on a set of Tubis. I wasn't actively looking to switch, but you can't beat the race car sound of a ridiculous Italian exhaust on a German car had to make the jump.
