Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

12 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Wanted to share: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Smallest-DV-...8AAOSwZd1VZULo $13, delivered. Goofy looking, but the guts are well made. Amazingly great quality and so small and CHEEP - put it anywhere. I was amazed. Slapped in a 64GB card and take 15 minutes of video. Came from China, took just a week.

POST 2Original post

Thats pretty cool, wonder if there is a way to secure in to the rear view mirror or somewhere that would be discrete but operational.

POST 3Original post

"wonder if there is a way to secure in to the rear view mirror or somewhere that would be discrete but operational." Velcro?

POST 4Original post

There are a bunch of GoPro clones on amazon for $75 or less, many around $40-$50 that work great and they come with a boatload of attachment accessories Velcro would not be a good way to attach things if you are tracking your car The mounts from RAM are spectacular. A little pricy (~$45 for a suction cup phone mount), but work great and no vibration

POST 5Original post

Agreed Jay. On the track you want that camera rock solid or the video will be too shaky to watch. Ask me how I know

I need something discrete, were only allowed steel on steel mounts which makes it difficult to do without a roll bar which I do not want to put in.

POST 8Original post

How come yours looks nothing like the one in your link?

POST 9Original post

That sucks. I have the rollbar mount, thing is rock solid. Previously have used the adhesive mounts on the windshield, also good. You don't have a harness bar? Are you running stock seats?

You could use a rear view mirror dash cam? http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...Y&A=details&Q= Comes with a second small camera that you could mount to watch foot work? Or another POV?

That is really neat, thanks for the idea.
