Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

. I was just checking the oil level and found this hanging free. Where does this white valve go?

POST 2Original post

Into the boot to the left, between the throttle body and the intake manifold for Bank 1 (drivers side). Theres a little hole to insert the valve.

There appears to be a piece missing in this image. The collars that connect to the plenum. That rubber collar has a place for that.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I followed 996love's directions and found the hole and connected it. What do you mean? Are you talking about the black/white valve?

Good! Yes that check valve. I couldn't see your cross over collar as your vacuum and harness are obstructing the view. I expected to see this: This is from my channel where I was chasing down a power steering pump leak.
