Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I was a little down on power on my dyno run from being a bit rich, so i think it is safe to say that I have added another ten -rwhp to those dyno numbers.
Leading evidence: 'Run from being a bit rich' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Run from being a bit rich' (1 discussions). Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

...Just curious how much power they put out now and how much they weigh? Thanks for any help! The race will most likely be from a roll and is with a friend for fun, primarily a "drag race".
Oh come on. Somebody must be able to give me these simple specs. right? I would really like to know since he said it had more power than the '99 model which I think was at 296-hp and wieghed I don't know how much.
It is a 911 996 hardtop. I did not realize there were any other kind of 996's other than 911's. Of course I don't know all that much about them to begin with.
Oh, and how much would an aftermarket catback give him in horsepower? I have no idea which one he went with, but apparently it is pretty loud, it may even be that one from the factory but the factory won't install it.
The catback will probably give him no power gain. The weight depends:
Is the 911 Tiptronic transmission or manual?
Is it a Carrera 2 or 4?
What car are you racing him with?
Carlos
Are you racing at a race track, or on Tyvola Road? Please be responsible, and if you have to hurt anyone, make sure it is only yourself, and not another motorist.
Thanks for the help guys. It is a manual that is 2wd so I guess a Carrera 2? I did not know all 911's were some type of Carrera.
There is this place on one of our local interstates that has a really long straight on ramp. I figured we could race on that, one behind the other (not too close though)up to about 85-mph or so. That way we would not be breaking the speed limit for more than 3-4 seconds. Probably at night once almost all the traffic is gone, but in this one area this is very little traffic at any time of the day. Sorry, I forgot to list my signature before. I was a little down on power on my dyno run from being a bit rich, so i think it is safe to say that I have added another ten -rwhp to those dyno numbers. Have a great weekend everyone!
FASSTLN, if your camaro is lighter than 3500lbs you shouldnt have a problem to be able to beat him on a drag race.(911 Carrera 2= 300HP,3000lbs.1/4 mile in 13.4secs aprox). Just dont let him take you to a track with curves or a mountain road because then I wouldnt count on it, the 911 is much more agile and well balanced.
