Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I also turned off the solenoids using the durametric and it did run rough so I know the solenoids are working.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Running the rpms up to 3k no change on either bank.
Need some advice.
I think I have a bad dramatic. I just pulled the veriocam on bank one again and rebuilt it had crap stuck in the plunger. And yes throughly cleaned it to make sure nothing was hiding.
After getting it all back together I started it up and she ran fine up until the oil temp get to about 48c then bank one drops to -11 bank two 0.
As I get closer to operating temperature it drops to -9 bank two 0
Running the rpms up to 3k no change on either bank. No error codes or CEL either.
I also turned off the solenoids using the durametric and it did run rough so I know the solenoids are working.
I also pulled the ECM opened it up and no signs of any fried resistors.
Thoughts
The cam deviation numbers will not move when reving the motor. Its a "smoothed" number that adjusts over time. U want to look for "Actual cam timing" or similar in your scanner. This number will jump when the variocam kicks in. That way u can see if its actuating.
As far as the high number is the measurement crank angle or actual degrees. i ask because crank angle = 2 degrees.
If the that 11 is in degrees u have something else going on like a badly worn long chain. In other threads i have mentioned and
@Porschetech3
has confirmed that u can loosen the cam sprocket and rotate the gear out of time to compansate. Its a time consuming process because u dont know how much u need to turn it and its near impossible to do while the motor is in the car.
One other thing to check is the long chain pads r decent and i would verify that the tensioner on that side is good or just replace it if u have not done already.
If you had crap stuck in the plunger, then you have debris circulating throughout the engine. Is your oil filter bypass installed properly in the bottom of the oil filter canister? Have you pulled the oil filter for close inspection of debris? Same question about the oil pan.
Finally, do you have photos or a description of the debris you have found?
This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
