I have used Heacock Classic which places coverage through American Modern for more than 20 years all those years never made a claim just premium payments until last year when my 1991 928 burned to the ground.

I am currenttly with Safeco and my full coverage policy is about to renew, but they tacked on a $450 increase for no reason? Agent just stated all insurances increased? I have zero claims and a clean record for the past 7 years. I only made a claim for a tow when my Cooltant tank dumped its fluid. I had such an issue with the tow company getting the car, because there was an issue with payment from Safeco, took over 2hrs to resolve but they did the tow.
I switched to Porche insurance about a year ago. Prices are reasonable, you get stated value and they promise to pay for Porsche OE parts if there's a claim. You also pay based on mileage. I don't have any claims so I can't vouch for the claims process. They're not in all states. I'm in CA.
I tried about a year ago with Porsche Ins. it wasn't available in CA, then and I just tried again just now and not available in CA, happy with Hagerty currently.
State Farm.
Rates are going up for all cars due to the higher cost of repairs on newer cars. Does not matter that you have a 20-year old car, everyone bares the load.
I also have Safeco, with agreed value on my 996 and e30. Daily driver is a Panamera GTS.
I�m around $2k/yr. Just went up $68 when I renewed last month.
I have been with American Modern, which like Hagerty, insures classic cars, boats, etc. My agent handles both American Modern and Hagerty and when I asked him why the Hagerty premium was so much more expensive, he replied that Hagerty spends big bucks for marketing and promotion. And now own the Amelia Concours. So far, I have been very happy with American Modern.

The claims process was smooth and professional and I received my Agreed Value check in two weeks including a CPI increase of 2% abouve agreed value that I did not even know was part of my policy.
