And good luck getting it reconnected, unless the engine is still out.

Suggestion

I think that is correct ^^ If it is/goes to the camshaft position sensor the car should be complaining and setting error codes.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi all. 2003 Carrera 2 coupe, and I'm putting things back together, and I have one connector so far that I can't find a home for. It's on the left (driver's) side of the engine and is part of the same harness as the injector connectors and coil pack connectors. Pictures below.

POST 3Original post

It goes to the camshaft position sensor on that bank, behind the larger coolant hose.
