Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Does anyone have a DIY for replacing #29, seat back release cable? Thanks!

POST 3Original post

Ugh that looks like a tough one. I didn't find anything in a search. I wonder if it's accessible by taking the hard back off?

POST 4Original post

Someone on here changed the lumbar air pumps recently. Might want to find that thread, the release cable looks to be in a similar location in the seat back.

That was me! I was able to access the pump by removing the center seat cushion and releasing the tabs hold the seat bolster cover to gain access to the pump. The cable is on the opposite side of the seat frame which may have a shell around it. Do you know how to remove the seat back center cover? I may be able to access the cable from there.

POST 6Original post

I have only removed the front center part of the seat back. I don't know how to remove the rear cover.
