I checked the engine compartment sensor and connection on the right manifold and all seems well there.

Car is a 2000 Millennium with 159K on it with a severe intermix when I bought it. After full rebuild 2 years ago, the coolant level light was flashing. (had video of car driving before I rebuilt the engine and no light blinking). I replaced the level sender and the tank (again) and still had the light blinking. I drove it like that for about 6-8 months ( about a 1000 miles) and the blinking just went away. Recently, coming for from a cars and coffee, the light came on again. I stopped and checked the coolant level, it was fine son I drove home. Started it up the next morning and no light. Driving a few weeks later, same thing happened. Light on then gone in the morning. Both of the incidents were after spirited driving for a half hour or so. Now, when I first start up, engine cold, the light is blinking. Not sure where to start, again. I checked the engine compartment sensor and connection on the right manifold and all seems well there. Also the sensor connection. Any suggestions?

Do a search. Its been discused a bunch of times but there r several things that can cause a slow blink. I think the engine temp sensor thats mounted over the ac compressor on the intake is one of them. Make sure its mounted correctly.

I will get into this a little deeper this week. I have read most of the discussions in the forum so will do further diagnostics and post findings
