Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I was in the same spot - ended up using a sandwich plate coupled with the LN adapter to get the ports I needed.

I know because my adapter was leaking badly and I needed to replace both.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hello Guys.
I have a spin oil adapter as a leftover from my IMS Solution installation that i would like to sale.
Before i post it on the market place, I have a questions regarding the O-rings.
I have a new set of O-Rings that I would like to include in the sale, but I'm not sure where the small one supposed to go.
this is the set I got from LNE
Thanks in advance.
You need them both so include both if selling. Big one goes on the outside thread that attaches to the block. There is a groove. The small one goes to the flange where the filter screws on I believe. There is also a groove for it.
If its supposed to go here, I probably lost the original one with my first oil change. there is no groove, and it is too small to stay in there.
it is also to large to go in here.
Maybe the O-Ring kit is designed to support more then one type of spin on adapter.
I'll derp them a message.
Here is a pic of the actual adapter with the O-Ring on top of it for reference.
No chance this one is going in there.
what looks at the picture as a ring, is actually a chamfer.
Provided you have the right size o rings, it will fit in the grove. I know because my adapter was leaking badly and I needed to replace both. Once you pull out the old o ring the grove is quite deep and has space for the o ring. I know the spin on adapter for the IMS Solution is slightly different so it's also possible the o rings belong to that but I'd think that portion is the same. You can always pull out the one that's there and try
plepte84, i don't know how to break it down to you, but you will never get a job at LNE tech support.
you just don't have the skills to handle dumb asses
the whole time i was looking at the area marked with the red arrow, while the O-Ring is located where the yellow one is pointing (which i guess that's what you meant from the beginning).
you can hardly see it in the picture.
thanks for the help.
Ya, I've seen that. Beautiful piece no doubt. And seems they are justifiably very proud of it. Was looking for a used one as trying to avoid the Porsche tax.
