Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

After a dealer replaced my immobilizer, now rear defrosters (as well as switch indicator and illuminate on the switch), wiper sprayers, done & door lights, and alarm light flash & beep doesnt work. After charging me $245 and having the car for 2 days, their answer was it is not related to the work they did and they wanted another $245 to diagnose further. Any help anyone?

Sorry, you can't replace a Porsche immobilizer for $245. Do you even know the amount of programming that needs to be done with the keys, immobilizer and DME/ECU? This is highly specialized work even for a Porsche dealer. Not happening for $245. I think you got ripped off.
I agree with Joe, they can't do an immobilizer for $245. The immobilizer alone is more than that. What happened to your old one..got wet?/ Did you provide your own parts...new or used parts??
Joe. The $245 was when I brought the car back in, not for the immobilizer. I wish it was only that. I want clear in my initial description. The $245 was for diagnostics to look into all these smaller issues.
So let me get this straight. U had the car at a dealership and they replaced the imobilizer. They returned the car with these other things not working. U then took it back and they charged u another $245 just to look at it again and say it wasnt their fault. Now they want to charge u another $245 to diagnose the issue? I think i would be emailing a complaint higher up the chain of command in this one.
Back to your issue. U need to use a meter or test light to check the fuses, not just look at them. If u did that and they r good then maybe its the ignition switch. They r known to cause weird power issues.
