Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I need help diagnosing what was performed on this receipt. From what I can tell it was just the seals for RMS and IMS and not a fix to the IMS. This was performed in 2008. Is there any pause for concern on this vehicle? From what I have researched the RMS leak is common and based on this receipt was fixed. I am mainly wondering if this should be concerning from an IMSB perspective. The vehicle is 2002 with 60k miles now. Thanks

POST 2Original post

Looks like they replaced the RMS and the IMS "flange seal" only. Maybe partial warranty work because of the N/C on removing trans, ect.?

POST 3Original post

if the IMS was replaced you'd see mention of it and a charge of $7-$800 for the part
