I've been toying with the idea of adding some amber "Baja Designs" cubes but I think I'd prefer to use the integrated fogs in the headlight assembly, just with a high output amber instead of the factory white.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'd like to see if there is an amber option for the fog light bulbs in the stock 996.2 headlight assembly. Here in the mountains I feel like amber gives better visibility in snow and fog, and I think it could be kind of a cool twist on the .1 fried eggs. I've been toying with the idea of adding some amber "Baja Designs" cubes but I think I'd prefer to use the integrated fogs in the headlight assembly, just with a high output amber instead of the factory white. Anyone here who has done this and/or has leads for this?

That's what I have on my car. I've only used them once in five years though. We get plenty of fog here, I'm just not usually driving the 996 when we do. It looks like they've gone from $13.77 in 2018 to $19.95 now. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002E2WMVW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002E2WMVW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1

Thanks! I drive mine daily year round so I definitely like as much illumination as I can get.
