Ok, I�ve searched the forum and there�s been multiple threads but most are non-conclusive on if there�s a clear method to replace JUST the handle.

Ok, I�ve searched the forum and there�s been multiple threads but most are non-conclusive on if there�s a clear method to replace JUST the handle. Seems like way too much work to swap out the whole assembly. Any help here? Thanks!

The handle is glued on. You will need to apply heat to soften the glue so you can pull the handle off. Some used a heat gun. I pulled the whole thing off and put it in the oven at 200, lol!

Haha thanks @jim010 sounds like that involved pulling the whole assembly out anyway. I guess question two is, where do you get a decently priced handle?

Depends on what you want. I got a wood trim handle and redid it in piano black, so used was good enough for me as I needed to refinish it anyway. What handle are you after?

I was just trying to avoid that since it looked like a pain to make sure you dial it back in correctly. But I think its looking like I'll need to do that
