Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Someone's selling a decent priced 997 fabspeed exhaust here in the Dallas area but as the title states I have 996 c4s with the eisman tips.
I know they have different part numbers but was wondering if anyone has been able to bolt one on and if so what modifications were necessary? Second option is just finding a local shop to do the fister mod but prefer to keep things intact
Will give it a shot but I'm guessing since it doesn't help them sell anything they won't be too helpful but you never know.
Was hoping someone here actually tried it
Thanks, saw that post. Doesn't really give any definite answer outside fabspeed themselves saying they don't while others say it may be possible. I'm guessing it may but may not be worth the savings possibility
I think in your quest to get a deal it’ll hurt you in the end
by the time you buy it send it to a installer cut and weld
it would be easier to wait for a better fit or gundo hack your current setup
There are Fabspeed Maxflow 996 mufflers for sale in the classifieds as we speak.

No, they do not fit, just been thru this exact thing. Can you mod them to fit ?, yes with cutting/rerouting/fitting the piping and welding all back together in the correct orientation . Like many others here, I can make almost anything fit, heck, they are dropping v8 into 996 nowadays. Not sure its worth the time and effort unless you do it yourself, have the time and can weld a nice bead...
