I want to avoid replacing the slave cylinder because that's was horrible and resulted in my having to bleed the clutch in the first place.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have a minor leak at at the bleeder valve after bleeding my clutch - only 1 drop or so after the car has been sitting overnight, no drips on the ground. I've tried pumping the clutch a bunch and don't see any fluid on the bleeder. I want to avoid replacing the slave cylinder because that's was horrible and resulted in my having to bleed the clutch in the first place. I had to pull the hydraulic lines to get the SC reinstalled. I want to try replacing the bleeder but can't seem to find the part. Does anyone know what bleeder valve to use (OE Slave Cyl) or if the brake bleeder valve is the same? I also thought about trying some high temp thread sealer.

POST 2Original post

Remove the bleeder valve fully and clean it and the seat. This should stop the leak. U may have to re-bleed anyways so removing the slave to make this easier should probably be done. U dont want to use sealer and risk bits getting in the system.

POST 3Original post

I think the bleeder screw is the same as the brake calipers, M10x1.0 and should be available at any auto parts store or at Amazon.

POST 4Original post

I find it much easier when needing to bleed the clutch slave cylinder to loosen the motor mount for some play and drop the trans mount with a floor jack to gain access and visibility to the slave cyl. along with left side tire off.

These are all good tips. I'm going to monitor the drop leak of the clutch bleeder and buy a new bleeder and clean out the slave seat when (if) I change it out. I don't have access issues to the clutch slave area but found taking the supply line and and bleeder valve off gave me a bit more leverage to get the slave in. I'm going to wait a few days and hope the leak fixes it self w/ some dirt or contaminate.
