Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

BTW - the stock Evo seats are some of the best seats ever put into a run of the mill production car, IMO.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Anyone know if these would work or what's needed to make them work?
If you had told me back in 03-05 the request to put Evo seats in a Porsche would be made on a Porsche Forum - well, I'd call you crazy...yet here we are. This would be about the time I was ripping stock seats out of my Evo to put in Pole Positions... I sold those stock seats way to cheap. BTW - the stock Evo seats are some of the best seats ever put into a run of the mill production car, IMO.
I don't believe you will find a bolt in solution. But, where there is a will, there's a way.
This fella swapped them into an IS - some pics and general guidance.

If you have a fabricator handy - they should be able to make it work.
I just purchased a set of these for new, aftermarket seats and they are stout and fit perfect to floor mounts and the seatbelt tab is great. I noticed some other mfgrs don't have the seat belt tab when I was searching.
I wanted to update this thread, it starts fairly specific but becomes more generalized and I thought it would be a good place for future use should anyone else want to install Recaro seats... especially with the GT3 seats skyrocketing in price...
I bought a set of these Recaro SR2 seats which were recovered and basically brand new.

and then Recaro sliders. I purchased both from Vivid Racing who is one of BK's authorized dealers. It was later that I found these "996-Specifc" Recaro sliders that have the seat belt buckle (shown in some earlier posts). Needless to say, I was missing the seat belt buckle on the universal sliders. I also found somewhere that Brey Krause somewhere sells a Seat Belt buckle, but what I think was $100 each was not going to be worth it and wasnt discovered until after my order was placed. I also recall that the 996-Specific sliders were ~$300 each VS the $150 each the universal ones were (2023 prices).
With all that said, I knew needed a Seat Belt Buckle receptable but then later also found that this setup dropped the seats too low as-is and needed some more work. With some measuring I estimated that I needed another inch of height to clear everything. I added a channel of 3/4" square Aluminum to boost the height of the Seat to something that works without interfering with the Center console and allowing the manual adjuster to actually be used. There has been chatter about being able to use the stock 996 sliders, but I didnt want to hack up the seats to find out. I removed then and wanted to just tuck the stock seats in the corner of the garage and forget about them.
This pic shows the two things I had to fab myself
All said and done, Im very happy with the seats now. Totally worth it for the comfort and confidence gained by the 'swaddling' of the Recaros alone, but the ~60# saved overall was a nice bonus. The total cost was still less than one GT3 seat, all-in was around $3k. If I had to do it over again I probably would've bought the 996-Specific sliders, but I think I still would've had the height issue to deal with. I dont mind a little fab work so Im happy with the few bucks I saved.
