Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

What is a fair price to pay for an XPel or similar product for just the bumper? I was quoted $900 today which seems very high.

POST 3Original post

I think my front bumper with the added chin spoiler and hood was around $1500 for PPF. It is supposed to be self healing stuff when out in the sun... I haven't had any issues or chips to notice if it works or not but I already scraped the bottom of the chin, duh!!!! I don't think that will self-heal but nobody sees it so I'll survive, lol.

POST 4Original post

varies by the market i think, i just had my BMW X5 done and it was $850 10 year warranty, 911 is pretty curved so i could see it being a dificult job... and you might be getting as little Porsche Tax as we 911 owners have high expectations.
