So I�m changing out my plugs and coils and noticed some oil around the base of my old plug. This picture is taken from the bank 6 plug. Is this just a worn spark plug tube / o-ring? If so, what�s harm in not changing this � I think it�s too challenging to do on my own. The ignition pattern looks pretty damn good for a used plug on a car with 140,000km. So I�m not sure where the oil is coming from. FYI, borescope in the being delivered.

The spark plug tubes are super easy to remove, and when you do, you'll see why it's worth doing them. I just used a long bolt, washer and a couple of nuts laying around to pop them out and most of my orings were shot causing a leak. Well worth the time and money, especially when you're right there. Also, if you're in the GTA, I can give you the bolt setup I used. It's a straight forward process.
