Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suggestion
I would go if it were closer so I can try to sell/swap my used IMS, pumpkins, 4 spoke steering wheel, Amber taillights, black coolant cap, used thermostat, orange cap mod, and water pump.
Leading evidence: 'Use thermostat, orange cap mod, and water pump' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Use thermostat, orange cap mod, and water pump' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Any recomendations on a hotel near by? Not 100% but Im thinking of getting home early and taking my dad and son. Im 3 hours away in NJ, so I was thinking to drive up Friday, sleep over and have all day Saturday. Its been long time. Last trip out I was buying sets of 8&9" fuchs for under a grand
Budget?
One really neat place that would work really easily for you coming from the east is the Lancaster arts hotel in Lancaster, Pa. JJ Jeffries restaurant in the hotel is really good, rooms are nice. Only about 45 minutes from Hershey.
Hershey Hotel and Hershey Lodge obviously are pretty good.
You'll be within 5 minutes from the event. All less than $150 and good reviews.

I will be at the Hershey Lodge this year but I have stayed numerous times at the Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey.... About 10mins away.... Very nice place... Restaurant in lobby.... Indoor pool for the kid.
A bunch of RL folks used to stay at the Sheraton 4 points... Nearby... But it started to get a bit dumpy in my opinion.
Picked the lodge this year since it was same price as the Harrisburg Hershey and is right up the street so easier access.
I have been taking my son who is now almost 14...since he was 4.
Before that.... I used to go with my dad.
When my son was little I got a red wagon and pulled him around playing his Gameboy.
Nice father-son getaway!
I agree, took my son a couple years ago, finally have time to go again. He is 16 and we picked up a 944 to fix up for him, so he wants to go and see if he can find somethings for it.
Tons of nearby hotels in the area primarily because of Hershey Park, which will be dead this time of year. PORCAR had some very good reasonably priced ones which are also very close, within 15 minutes or so. For anyone looking to bring girlfriend/wife there is the Hotel Hershey, somewhat expensive but very nice.
Question for those who have been:
I'm still back and forth on whether or not I feel like making the drive. (It's 3 hours each way for me) I'm not really looking for anything to buy (famous last words), so it would just be to walk around and look at the cars.
Is there enough there to see to make it worth a 6 hour round trip?
I think it's worth doing at least once just to see all of the Porsches parked together like hundreds of little ants. So my opinion is yes, this would be the year to do it based on the weather conditions.
Planning to go based on the weather alone. Who else is going?
How does one identify other Rennlisters at the Swap meet?
I'll be wearing my "Dial in case of emergency" shirt and a black Porsche hat.
I agree with porcar. If you like to look at Porsches and just sort of randomly wandering around it will be worth it. With the weather report it will be one of the best turn outs ever. Last year was almost as nice as what they are calling for and it was huge.
I missed it this year, spent the day hitting myself in the face for making some really dumb mistakes on a brake job on the other car and then coaching my son's little league team. Hope all who went had a nice time.
Well that explains why I couldn't locate your car. Looked for yours and Hurdi's thinking they would be the easiest to identify but no luck. Would have been nice to meet a few folks in person.
On the downside, my 15 year old son was "definitely" going with me, until after multiple wake up attempts he decided that sleep was more important, so I went solo.
On the upside I had a terrific ride home behind a GT3RS. I'll sum up that ride by saying that when I arrived home I stopped at the local pizza place, called my wife and asked if she wanted me to pick up a pizza. She said sure, that'd be okay for a quick dinner. I said no, not for dinner, for lunch. She asked where I was, I told her, and her response was "no way, that's not possible; don't tell me you were playing with another Porsche all the way home".
Yes - playing.
That's fantastic. I often provide my wife with multiple travel times depending on vehicle.
Would be fun to have a meet up. Let's try and make it happen next year, along with anyone else who is game.
