Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've seen pictures of MY02 996, but they look the same to me w/ the exception of the S models. According to several articles the 996 is suppose to get a minor facelift, and rear light change among a couple of other things. Is it so minor that no one can tell the difference? I thought the purpose of the facelist was to distinguish the 996 from the Boxter?

POST 2Original post

The 2002 Carrera series receives the Turbo headlights and has restyled front and rear bumpers. The changes are subtle but noticeable.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The best MY 2002 picture I've seen is at www.suncoastporshce.com. I don't doubt you, but it is disappointing that I can't tell the difference between this picture and the 01 from the front view. I was hoping for a more dramatic change.
