Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
33 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.
Rennlist: 1 discussions
0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.
1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Yes Jetta diesel gave up the ghost.
Looking to add a Boxster 2 the mix...
Figure the boys can bring home the Boxster, older one wants it already.
Thx 4 well wishes!
Let's play "finish the story":
Somewhere with palm trees and a Hilton condo, two young gentlemen with a Boxster, a pink & blue shoelace and a big bottle of water . . .
Not given.
I'm a bit of a nut...
Live on a racetrack...
If son didn't want it, we would drive it and use as a teaching car.
He already bought it though.
Last time I went to visit him I flew into slo and bought a 993 cab, drove it home and a few more years before selling it.
Beats renting , and the Jetta was on its way out...
So, this was all an elaborate marketing prank for the Night at Roxbury 2?

I saw/read the post in the Boxster section but thought it was some kind of troll post.
Besides I don't own an S and do not know anyone who does that would be ready to sell.
My Boxster (used Porsche) buying advice is based upon doing due diligence to help ensure one gets the right car. While I'm quite aware for every buyer there is a way to buy a car your approach is rather foreign to me and I didn't feel anything I had to offer would be of any help.
In spite of a lack of a response from the Boxster forum you seem to have managed alright though and that's what matters.
Give the kids a break. We've all been young like them too......and did more **** that we care to confess to. Sounds like the OP is a part-time father so if this is how he wants to handle the car situation, so be it. If they break the Boxter, it will resurface as a project for sale and someone else will have their turn.
I'm just being a bitter, jealous, small person. I would not have minded in the least if, when I'd been OP's kids' age and blew up my car, my old man had ordered up an older but still damn nice near-luxury-class cabriolet.
I do think someone should have let Dad know about the unspoken understanding when one sees two guys in a Boxster in California, but I digress.
