Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi Everyone,
Been working on a project for sometime to enhance the quality of DIYs that are posted all over multiple forums. So I've built a site that is completely open and will allow anyone to post or edit anything that may be useful to other car enthusiasts.
DriveDIY.com
The guides are located directly at
Guides.DriveDIY.com
Would love some feedback, suggestions and even more so... would love to get the help from others with some guides. Your welcome to post them yourself or send them my way and ill take care of it.
Thanks!
Well, as I think you already know (based on the response I got to my comment), I just spent about 45 minutes looking over your site. I think it has great potential. Will there be forums or pages based on vehicle models or topics? How will it be organized? As of now, it appears to be a compilation of articles, but I don't see a structure for the website.
Keep us updated and best of luck!
Thanks for taking the time to go over everything , I saw your comment pop up before as well.
Did you get a chance to check out the Guides section ? It can be reached directly at
Guides.DriveDIY.com
The way we structured the site was as follows
Homepage - (work in progress) ATM it shows some articles that we curated from sites that I love to read daily, figured it would of interest to other P Car fans as well.
Store is a compilation of tools and other misc items we mention in the guides.
Guides is the meat and potatoes of the site. I really have no intention of turning it into a forum, since frankly ... there are handful of great ones and they need a full time staff to just moderate and admin these types of sites.
The Guides section is currently showing 3 upper level categories , Detailing , BMW and Porsche ... inside Porsche I added 4 more categories.
The natures of the way we built this site, is that anyone who registers for the site can submit edits, create new categories , add documents etc .... so as DIY articles begin to fill up , we will address categorization as needed. The search functionality of the guides sections is very powerful and I've done my best to tag items as best as possible.
But we will definitely need sub categories as more stuff begins to show up.
The Answers section is a great way that anyone can ask a question and get some answers.
So please keep checking back ask questions , make edits, add comments or simply browse the content.
We really hope in time, this grows into something that really benefits our community. Ive always felt with the proper instructions a willing person could easily do a good amount of work on their own car and save some money.
Thanks!
