I started easy and replaced the relay and that fixed the issue, probably just an aged relay.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi, recently while driving I noticed my turn signals not working randomly one day when making the turn and realizing the signal light was not on. I flipped the turn signal switch off and back on which activated the lights in both directions like normal. So i didnt make much of it until a road trip a few days later, when switching lanes I noticed it not working. Then they would work again and continue working; normal for the rest of the trip. The following day when I parked outside and put my hazards on, the lights were not working at all. Turn signal stalk did not activate lights in either direction and pressing the hazard switch would not work either. I locked the car with the hazard switch depressed, lights blinked to indicate car locked but no hazards. When I came back outside, the hazards were blinking. Now today again the stalks and hazards were not working, pressing the hazard button I can hear the relay click but no lights. When I turn the stalk, i dont hear the relay click. Has anyone experienced anything like this? Could a relay click and still be faulty?

POST 2Original post

I'd venture to guess its the hazard switch...Try removing and reseating. It's free!

POST 3Original post

Wouldnt hurt to swap out the relay and see. Its a cheap part and easily replaced. If light has issues with both hazard and turn signals, I dont think its the switches.

POST 4Original post

The entire light switch is problematic and it controls power flow to the turns. Also r both front and rears not working? That woild be a clue that power is making it to or past the switch. U need to bust out the multimeter.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I was concerned it might have been the stalk, perhaps the hazard switch, because it would be so intermittent as if a solder point broke. The odd thing is when I hit the hazard button the relay would click once, no lights and no blinking. I started easy and replaced the relay and that fixed the issue, probably just an aged relay. Wish this would have been more exciting, but glad the simple solution fixed it.
