This is not a probability of success.

Looking at replacing the 19" OEM wheels (look like Sport Classics but can't verify?) with 18x9/18x11.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Before I order, wanted to make sure an 18x11 with et60 won't stick out from the rear of a 2000 Carrera 2. Just paid for the car and waiting on it to ship to me. Looking at replacing the 19" OEM wheels (look like Sport Classics but can't verify?) with 18x9/18x11.

POST 2Original post

18x11 et63 is the gt3 spec in the rear and it has the same body as a c2 so a et60 will work just fine. Whats the et on the front rims? Stock size r 8 and 8.5 so some math will be required to figure out if it will work. Apex wheels has a very good write up on most porsche models including the 996 so look it up for more answers

thanks for the reply. The fronts are 18x9 et46. I put my car info in and picked the 9 wide front, it then defaulted to the 11 for rear.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
