Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

There appears to be water marks on the inside of the glass on the gauges. Is there a simple way to remove the glass to be cleaned?

POST 2Original post

Not really. The cluster needs to come out and then taken apart. Ive done it so many times now, I could do it in 5 minutes but Id say 20 minutes is about average.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Can you define the procedure for removing the instrument display?

POST 4Original post

it might be the coating on the front of the lens deteriorating due to improper cleaning. I would guess this is more likely than there being water on the inside of the cluster

I would be very careful. I would start with plain water and a microfiber cloth. You don't want to use anything that would discolor or harm the plastic. If water doesn't work, I would then try some eye glass cleaner. Good luck!
