Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I recommend people go back to stock or switch out to another brand that's easier for 3rd parties to revalve.
Leading evidence: 'Recommend people go back' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Recommend people go back' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

They like to pogo over bad roads on top of the initial impact harshness, which can only be "solved" by turning the rebound setting basically all the way down.

okay, performance-wise, but I've never found a comfortable setting even with top-dollar Swift springs.

Then you have to obsessively change the setting for every road to avoid the pogo-ing.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

All,
I have had my 996 for 18 months, it has had feal coilovers installed and the ride height appears to be lowered.
the ride is crashy and it has a weird thing where it will lift one wheel front or back when going up or down my driveway and onto the camber of the road,
so i think its lost its suspensions travel, from a few conversations it needs some additional components, i'm not tracking and would like a better more compliant ride whilst maintaining somewhat of a lowered stance.
I am not aware of anyone in Louisiana that can dial these cars in perhaps im wrong and there is someone here, I am looking for a recommendation for a suspension specialist in nearby states or perhaps Florida as i have friends down there i could go see, hopefully in central Florida
Orlando, Tampa, Fort Lauderdale, Miami is also possible.
Any help would be appreciated.

Feal coilovers are crashy even compared to their competitors. I have tried to make them work on various platforms, they're... okay, performance-wise, but I've never found a comfortable setting even with top-dollar Swift springs. They like to pogo over bad roads on top of the initial impact harshness, which can only be "solved" by turning the rebound setting basically all the way down. Then you have to obsessively change the setting for every road to avoid the pogo-ing. Super not versatile. I recommend people go back to stock or switch out to another brand that's easier for 3rd parties to revalve.
The wheel lifting has multiple causes. 1) the construction of the damper itself doesn't have very long travel, similar to BC Racing, Fortune Auto and other "universal + adapter" coilover systems, and 2) the spring rate, which tends to be 2-4x higher than stock. As you lift up a corner of the car the spring (F = kx) loses force to push the wheel down, while the anti-roll bar is holding the wheel up. The bar will win, so one wheel winds up in the air. This is noticeable even when stock, but very pronounced when you have stiff springs and short dampers.
If you want to be low but comfortable, Ohlins is the best bang for buck. I race (BMW, not Porsche) on highly modified BC coilovers and it works, very comfortable on and off-track but slowly gets worse at body control as the dampers overheat. They're cheap enough to the point that you can swap out the used Feals and break even, but I know plenty of folks on this forum will thumb their noses up at a Taiwanese coilover.
All true. Also possible the previous owner cranked up the preload on the Feals, and that there isnt enough droop. Feal 441s ride super low and if the OPs car doesnt have front end spacers, its possible they tried to raise it with preload which would make them extra-crashy. Correcting that should be trivial for a shop. Theyre still not going to be Ohlins, but might be more liveable for the OP.
Thanks for the input, i have confirmed that there is no bump steer kit, if you are referring to the spacers to lower the toe links to a more standard angle.
