Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Pretty sure Ive seen a video where Jake says to use the Porsche brand.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Does anyone have any experience with the remanufactured injectors offered on AutoAtlanta? Whats involved in the remanufacturing process? Just a cleaning and calibration? Ive read threads where guys send their injectors off to be cleaned and tested, and then reinstall them in their engine. I havent read any comments that were negative about this process. So Im thinking for $42.07 they are the way to go.
Please whatre you thoughts, experiences, and opinions on this. Thanks in advance for your help.
No direct experience but your best bet is to probably contact the people that provide the product and get the details. If remanufacturing includes new guts inside of the injector body then I'd say it's a safe bet. The reason why some shy away from injectors that were just cleaned is that the mechanical pieces that close the gas flow inside the injector ware out and can cause it to still leak fuel into the combustion chamber.
The guy I use cleans them for $17 each. They are leak tested, flow matched, new filters and O-rings installed. Hurst Injector Service. I can't say enough good things about Paul there.
Are you saying this is the injector that is used in FSI builds? Pretty sure Ive seen a video where Jake says to use the Porsche brand. If thats the case then this is an easy decision.
Bought these on amazon and installed in November.
I had no expectations of features, and for the price I decided to give it a try.
They work brilliantly, after 1500 miles no complaints, in fact fantastic.
By now everything is produced in China, unfortunately.

That's what it sounds like from the description "we have sourced an aftermarket injector that Flat 6 Innovations uses and has tested to be 100% compatible with the original injector." Lot's of things have been said previously but things do change. Jake also was very vocal about the fact that the factory short block program is over and there is no way you can get them any longer. They bought up whatever was available. As we have seen now, you can order one from a dealer and have it delivered in several weeks. The only constant is change
I suspect Bosh and Porsche injectors will be available again at some point once the supply chain catches up. Might be a while though. If I was you and needed injectors I'd get the ones from LN and move on. It's a good price. I got the Bosh ones in March of 2021 from Pelican for $39 a pop so given that prices went up on everything it's not too bad!
The program is over for some, but not all of the M# designations across the M9X series. When the company that manufactures the blocks for Porsche starts messaging companies other than Porsche trying to sell off "what's left" because the factory no longer wanted them you can say that things have ended with certainty.
The remaining short blocks were likely created from the blocks that were still in the system prior to the factory sending out those notices. Many companies in the aftermarket world got the same note from the block manufacturer, not just us.
