I was told by the dealer that it couldn't be helped unless I replaced a part in the linkage that would run $6K or so.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I need 2 rears and they don't make that size anymore. I need an all season high performance tire. These were great, any ideas ? What are you using for high performance all season tires ? 222 40 18 & 295/285 30 18 Thanks, Brad B Pittsburgh PA

POST 2Original post

Your C4S needs: 225/40/18 295/30/18 If your referring to the Pilot Sport PS2 N3,N4, they are still out there but limited according to Michelin. Downside is they are very expensive.

POST 3Original post

I just switched over to the Yokohama Advan Sport a/s and so far they are great.

POST 5Original post

I have AS 3's on my Targa and they are incredibly noisy. I can't wait until they are worn out so I can replace them

POST 6Original post

Continental Contitrac Sport. Just put on a set and they are quiet and smooth. 60% of Mich price too. All 4 for 1300. Colorado. 2003 c4 cab tip.

POST 7Original post

Hmmmm, I recently purchased a new set of Michelin PS2s, got them from TireRack and were $1350 with a $70 rebate: 225/40/18 fronts 285/30/18 rears

POST 8Original post

I had a bad alignment for a while. I was told by the dealer that it couldn't be helped unless I replaced a part in the linkage that would run $6K or so. So I had to go through rear tires wearing on the inside every 6K miles or so. OK, tires are cheaper than that (at least I thought). First replacements were Michelin's and that was expensive. Finally I got a good Indy who said he had the tools to make the alignment. He has previously saved me a boat load of money so I trusted him. I purchased two Sumitomos (295 30-18) for the rear from the Tire Rack. The price was too good - $152 for HTR ZIII's. I figured for that price, I consider them throw-aways. So far I have put 7K miles on them. They are quiet, the ride is smooth and the wear is even (thanks to the new alignment). My guess is that I will get at least 20K+ miles off these (they have plenty of tread left). I am surprised more people don't try this tire.
