Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I checked my fluid reservoir and it is indeed low. Read that it only goes low because of a leak. But I cant find any. I put my hand down each side to full around the rams. Followed the lines. But nothing. Is there somewhere else it flows to? Assume as oil, it would leave some kind of stickiness behind. Also, is this fluid okay to use as replacement? Verse the auth porsche stuff? https://www.oreillyauto.com/detail/c/pentosin/oil--chemicals---fluids/maintenance-chemicals/steering---transmission/power-steering-fluid---vehicle-specific/a1454db6352c/pentosin-hydraulic-fluid-1-liter/pnt0/1405116 Found a rag left behind from some other tech who knows how long ago 😀

POST 2Original post

I can't answer your leak question, I can say that is the correct hydraulic fluid for your top and also your power steering. If the CHF11 isn't available you can also use CHF202 as it's a slightly newer compatible fluid. The difference is the CHF202 has a higher flashpoint.
