I'm having some issues with opening my 996 cabriolet canopy (passenger side flap out of synch). I am trying to calibrate the canopy, however, upon inspection, I note that the passenger side tension bow (??? -- the lowest bow that holds the base of the canopy under the clamshell) is not fixed to the main bow. The bushing can be inserted into the hole in the main bow(?), however, there is nothing holding it in place and it springs out during opening which can cause the clamshell to foul on the uncentered canopy bow. The image below appears to indicate the missing part is a ' retaining pin of the anti-spread lock '. I have not been able to isolate a part number for this. Any help identifying the missing piece greatly appreciated. Image from the manual

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
