Not sure about reflash but they wanted to charge me 500 just for an oil change on my 2000 986S
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Here in Austin,Texas Porsche dealer built a new magnificent showroom and service center. Drove my 996 over to check on price/availability for new key.
Walk in to facility and blown away by display cars and decor. Fully equipped coffee lounge with free wireless and areas for you to work. Upstairs a fully equipped gift shop
with all the Porsche goodies you could ask for and additional display Porsche's. Took elevator down to discuss key....clerk not very positive but then her lunch arrives and I suppose I was interrupting lunch.
Left by the gleaming service desks with limited info on key.
Not one person greeted me the entire 25 minutes during the walk. I walked by 200K autos, thru the sales area, by the service area. Not one greeting.
The service area looks like a Hollywood movie set. But my old 996 will never see that shop.
^I recently dropped my car off (for the first time) at the local Porsche dealer for some service and winter storage. My wife had gone in to buy me some swag and they charmed her with talk about good deals in the winter when they are not busy, and how my car is now a classic. So I figured what the heck.
Not sure if they were all there for storage or service, but there was at least a half dozen air cooled cars, several 996s, and several 997s parked in service reception. I took that as a good sign for these guys.
