When I was there I removed the air filter and cleaned it up a bit and cleaned the engine compartment; with this cars if you inform yourself a bit you can do basic procedures, no need for the dealer anymore, next oil change I will do it myself, you definitely learn more about your car doing things on your own.

My time is always limited, and if I have any free time I have to spend it with the family, I love cars and when I was a kid I used to help my dad with everything from changing the oil to do a full tune up in a carburator engine.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My time is always limited, and if I have any free time I have to spend it with the family, I love cars and when I was a kid I used to help my dad with everything from changing the oil to do a full tune up in a carburator engine. Well my bumperette became loss, so I took it out, I knew the only way to fix it was by removing the whole rear bumper, I was saying as soon as I have time I will stop at a body shop to take care of it. Well it didn't happen, always busy, but yesterday, I had my kids with extracurricular activities, my wife has to attend to one of them, "womans club something", so finally I was alone. I look at a couple of youtube videos, I couldn't believe how easy it was to remove the bumper, no need to remove the headlights, anything, I went to visit my dad he lives close by, show him the videos and he said let's do it, took us 5 mins, really easy, placed the bumperette back and voila. When I was there I removed the air filter and cleaned it up a bit and cleaned the engine compartment; with this cars if you inform yourself a bit you can do basic procedures, no need for the dealer anymore, next oil change I will do it myself, you definitely learn more about your car doing things on your own.
