Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Hi - anyone know the size of the transmission drain plug (not the fill plug, unless they are the same size). I can't find any part number in the PET and, oddly, nothing after an exhaustive search online. I thought it was M24x1.5, but the M24x1.5 part I was going to use is a tad too big. Thinking M22?

Whoops Do you mean the actual size of the plug? M22 1.5 http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/..._pg2.htm#item3

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

yeah, the size of the plug. wanna stick a reducer in there to take an m14 temperature sender (batinc sells such things). needs to be in the tranny fluid so the drain plug is where it has to go. I got an m24x1.5 male to m14x1.5 female reducer from them but it is too big. i'm thinking it might be m22 but no way to confirm without pulling the plug and losing a bunch of fluid (and refilling the tranny is a pain).

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
