Hello, I have a 03 C2S, symptoms are sometimes weak acceleration like the car does not come 'on cam'. Other times the car runs very strong. I see some oil seepage from one of the solenoids (Passenger side, closest to the rear of car) I assume at least this one is a problem. I just got a Durametric and ran the Variocam test while the engine was running, and the car immediately shuts off. No codes, except I saw a code 100 for RPM signal before I began the testing. To my understanding the idle should go rough when testing with Durametric, and the car should not shut off, not sure though. I was hoping to see a code to help me pinpoint which solenoids to fix but no such luck. Anyone have a similar experience? thanks

What does the cam deviation look like? If your crossover valve on the intake isn't working it will not pull as well on heavy throttle.. Best not to run the car if anything in the valve train is not perfect...
