Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey all! I have recently taken on doing an AOS replacement kit install and I am in the process of buttoning it all up and I realize there is one connector that I have no idea where it goes. It is attached to a harness that ends near the AOS itself. I may have disconnected it from something and forgot while replacing the long breather hose on top of the engine.

POST 2Original post

Its funny how people are all finding this at the same time on a nearly 25 year old car. See my thread here: https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...came-from.html Its an unused connector for tiptronic cars.

POST 3Original post

If you have a manual, that is a connector that gets used on the tiptronic cars and does not get used. There's a little bracket that it can attach to.
