Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. I am running 295/30/19 on the rears with 65mm offset and 7mm spacers, front are 235/40/18 with 50mm offset and 15mm spacers.

Suggestion
I just ordered a set of Elephant Racing quick change camber plates to fix/reduce the negative camber (they're basically brand new PSS tires and I don't want to ruin them like I did to my last set...)
Leading evidence: 'Run 295/30/19' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). They're expensive, but will be worth it in the long run - they're also cheaper than using adjustable coffin arms...

These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

They help the narrow-body car's stance in my opinion, makes it look more modern. I have 12mm spacers all around on my car; did not want to mess around with different thicknesses front and rear since I don't want to have to keep track of which wheel bolts go where. ECS Tuning's spacer kit is very nice with perfect fit tolerances, and they include longer rotor retaiing screws, so it's a very polished installation and doesn't make wheel removal/installation any harder going forward.
I’m working with 8” ET50 fronts with 225/40-18 and 10” rear ET65 with 295/30-18, on a narrow body car. I’m personally liking the stance with the spacers, but concerned about fender clearance. I understand 996.2 has rolled fenders from the factory, but damn, it looks close with mild street camber settings. What you're seeing is 15mm spacers on front and 7mm on rear. 15mm front, I believe, brings it very close to GT3 stance. (8.5” wheel ET45)
I did 7 mm in the front and wish I went a touch bigger to fill it out a bit more. I forget if I did 10 or 15 in the rear but whatever it is it looks good. Makes a big difference on the NB.
I'm in the same boat as you - can't drive so working on my 996! I just received 7mm & 15mm H&R spacers with bolts from Essex Distributors in BC. I have 19" Niche Targa wheels (19x8.5 et 47 with 225/35/19 front, 19x9.5 et 45 with 265/30/19 rear) so am planning to go with the 7mm spacers on the front and 15mm on the rear. Will post a photo or two once mounted.
Good to hear that the 15+ spacers work Mike! Looks like your not running a ton of negative camber either. I was worried about rubbing, but I guess I should have no problems. Thanks!
I've got 15mm front and rear with stock 18" wheels and offsets - no rubs here, and it's pretty low (24 7/8ths front, 25 7/8's rear - from ground to wheel arch).
Not a great photo, but hopefully you get the idea
@dporto
is that ride height in the photo with your H&R springs or your KWs?
I really like the look of the 15mm spacers on your car. I may do the same with my hollow twists.
The photo in this thread is the KW's. My avatar photo is the B8's w H&R springs. ** The camber on that right front wheel is -2.8 degrees hence the "tucked" look of the front wheel. The left side is at -3... I just ordered a set of Elephant Racing quick change camber plates to fix/reduce the negative camber (they're basically brand new PSS tires and I don't want to ruin them like I did to my last set...)
I really like the look of those Elephant racing camber plates! I’m envious. I have the Tarett ones, and they work good, but with B8s you can’t get to the inside bolt to rotate positions from extra negative camber to street without removing them from the strut. They’d be fine with coil overs, as the bolt would be accessible. I swap mine back and forth for track days, so the idea of a quick, easy change is appealing.
Exactly! They're expensive, but will be worth it in the long run - they're also cheaper than using adjustable coffin arms... I'm also sure someone will be interested in the Tarrett camber plates at a nicely reduced price!
@dporto
looks great, but your current setup is a little lower than I want to be. H&R are probably just right. I almost bought your used set, but I have a couple other projects to do first.
Hi, Its a great setup! Im thinking of doing the same. I have also 18" on 235 in the front and 265 in the rear. What are your tire sizes? would be great to know if it would match.
I am running 295/30/19 on the rears with 65mm offset and 7mm spacers, front are 235/40/18 with 50mm offset and 15mm spacers. also 60mm studs
all around.
28mm front and 21mm rear for me
I'm obsessed with the perfect stance. Have camber plates up front, set at -2 degrees. In the rear I'm on 265/35 tires instead of the stock 285/30.
