Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

My lug nuts are Hex Sockets and they are chrome on the outside. However, the inside is rusty and ugly. Any thoughts on what to do to keep it from rusting.
Unfortunately, mine are not Porsche standard size bolts. The hole size on the wheels for the lugs are really narrow. Since the wheels came with the car, not sure of brand. Anyways, they look something like this.

Have not found any better quality ones yet.
Wow...I cannot believe you can get the required torque on those. That being said, why not just purchase the new one's you found? Or remove the one's you have, clean as best as possible, scuff with some sandpaper and just paint them...black, silver, whatever. Just don't get paint on the threads or seat.
I bet they don't last after the first time you have to remove your wheels. Also forget using a spray washer or even a jet setting on your garden hose when you wash your wheels.
Better than spray painting and if it starts to flake, I can take this off quickly or just reapply. Actually worked well. Not my hex tools does not get stuck in the hole when torqued.
Just bumped into this thread....
If you not only want your bolts to look good but also want a stronger wheel bolt then take a look at these.
