Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Leading evidence: 'Use /po...els_single.jpg' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Run square 8.5' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

I'm not opposed to running a square 8.5 set up if I can't find 10s though.

This set is my winter set with 10" rear and 7.5" front, leading me to believe it was from an earlier (pre '02) 996 but the set my car was delivered with looks identical with the exception of the fronts being 8" wide instead of 7.5".

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

As title states... how hard to find are they? I have the stock take-offs from my dearly departed C4S, and I'd like to use them on my 951 but I feel that 11" rears are too much tire for that car.
Am I better off looking for a different narrow-body wheel?
I know that the Turbo Look II wheel that was fitted as the OE wheel for the C4S was available in a 10" width for use with winter tires. It was a 10x18" wheel with a 47mm offset. There are two part numbers:
996 362 140 01 (not for use with 2004 and 2005 C4S)
996 362 140 02
I don't know if these wheels are common.
Mount those on a 944?!?! Wow, that seems like overkill. With the 50/50 weight ration, I don't see that working. That being said, I'd love to see pics of them mounted in.
Jester, the 951 currently has the 2pc BBS 996 wheels on it, which are 8s and 10s. That seems to be about the max rear width without massaging the body work. I'm not opposed to running a square 8.5 set up if I can't find 10s though.
What do you consider Turbo I and Turbo II? The 993 vs 996?
I have these, and am looking for these in 10" width

Those are the turbo II.
The turbo I look like these:

The turbo I had both 993 and 996 part numbers.
Here's my '02 on a set of Turbo Twists in 10" rears. These are slightly different than the image you posted but are what usually came on the NB 996 as an 18" option.

If you do in fact want the same look as in your picture, those are harder to find. Most people can't tell the difference.
