I have not used these exact shims, but I have used Girodisc rotors for a few years and they use a similar setup of longer bolts plus shims to accommodate the larger diameter. It has worked great for me on both road and track.

For those, you have to have the turbo spindles or a Turbo/C4S model as they have different calipers and hubs. Not too much of a braking improvement except at the tracks where you'll encounter a bit less fade during repeated stops. Also your unsprung weight will go up slightly which can have some effects on your dampening, but this can be negligible depending on your suspension setup.
