I ordered a set, specifically for the C4S, supposedly.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've searched, and seen all the other threads on this subject, but couldn't find my exact situation. I have an '03 C4S. I found a company that makes the stock turbo twist wheels in 19". I ordered a set, specifically for the C4S, supposedly. They are 19x9 front et 57, and 19x12 rear et 45. The wheel manufacturer recommended 245/25/19 front tires, and 325/30/19 rears. These seem way too big to me. I went with those sizes, had them mounted yesterday. I have the fronts on, and there is barely any room at the back of the wheel/shock tower. But the car is still on jack stands, as I'm waiting to get my exhaust back from Fister, so it might be better on the ground. The rears look to be tight too, but its hard to tell as the rear bumper is off at the moment. Plus, these sizes make the rears almost an inch bigger in diameter than the front. Before I spend a ton of time putting them on and getting the car down on the ground, but unable to drive it until the exhaust gets in, I thought I'd ask for advice/thoughts here. Tirerack recommends 305/30/19 for the rears, but will that fit a 12" wheel? Thanks for any info.

POST 2Original post

I had similar sized wheels with 235/40 305/30 tires in my 03 C4s and the fronts rubbed. Went to 19x8.5et45 and 19x11et40 wheels with 235/35 and the same 305/30 rear tires and all is well. The fronts in the earlier set didnt hit the shock but were damn close. Best of luck getting it sorted, but the fronts youve chosen are aggressive and may require spacers to miss the shock during aggressive driving and your front fender linings will take a beating regardless.
