Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

35 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Outcome without a verified action link

Worked for me a few times when I was pulled over for going (a little over the limit) the officer saw the stickers and had an option to give me the plate infraction instead of speeding Tix , Always give the officer an option !

Unfortunately, you'd probably get profiled as is driving that car(at least around here you would). I joked with my friend when he get's his new Range Rover, he better have a backup plan in case the popo's don't think he's a sports celebrity. Told him he needs to brush up on his Carlton routine if he has to get out of the car for anything. lol Congrats on the car and hopefully Kalish(member here with e55 amg) will not be stalking you too much.

POST 10Original post

Ha DWB is still a thing, yes. Don't drive dirty and you will be fine.

I ride clean, all day, every day. Keep it clean. Lol. You are right, i probably still will be. As far as doing the Carlton, thats a tough one. Do the Carlton to get out of a ticket and end up as internet celebrity for the week, or take a ticket...... He can stalk all he wants. I got no problems answering questions on the Merc side.

Thanks good sir. Thanks the plan. Already got parts coming for the few small things, but we have already "become well acquainted with each other" for lack of a better term.

POST 13Original post

Welcome to RL New guy. Arctic silver 4S was a wise choice.

POST 14Original post

POST 16Original post

Congrats and welcome to the C4S Mafia ; ) Mine never fails to thrill me.

POST 17Original post

Welcome to the club. Great choice on color, good mileage, great year, model and a C4S to boot! You'll have fun. Keep us posted on your mods and first impressions. Cheers! I drive too fast to get profiled, lol.

POST 18Original post

Great-looking car, congrats! Keep the plate, it's got my uncle's name on it. He passed away, so it is a nice tribute.

POST 19Original post

Another C4S - welcome & congrats! She looks like a beauty!

POST 20Original post

Good looking C4S, welcome to the club. More pics please.

POST 21 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for the warm welcome. She's in short term storage while i wait on parts. (maintainence items) Pictures will come. Initial impressions. i love this car. Drives like nothing else. it just picks up and goes with a simple downshift. Used to Merc's and their powerband so I'm like, how much different can this be, boy was I wrong. And the handling, oh the handling....direct and planted Havent stopped smiling since i picked it up and it's been over a week.

POST 22 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

More pictures. The Rover is my go everywhere vehicle.

POST 23Original post

Sweet ride! Congrats and welcome. Nice looking Rover also.

POST 24Original post

Just a thought and I can't "prove" that it will actually save you from a border-line traffic infraction, but I made a donation to the state sheriff's association to get some bumper stickers. I have them on all of my vehicles: one on the left-rear bumper and another on the driver's side rear window. If I get pulled over I want the officer to see these before he's asking for my license and registration.

I did the same thing ! Worked for me a few times when I was pulled over for going (a little over the limit) the officer saw the stickers and had an option to give me the plate infraction instead of speeding Tix , Always give the officer an option !
