I'm in the process of replacing all the coolant hoses and radiator hoses, along with installing a new water pump and LN low temp thermostat. There is one particular hose on the driver side that I'm having trouble getting to. It is above the steering rack and anti-roll bar. So far I've been unable to see or even feel all of it and can only reach one side (the side that connects to the aluminum plumbing line. I am wondering if anyone else has replaced this line before and could share some guidance? My car is a 2002 C4S 6 speed.

I replaced all my coolant and vent hoses (front and back)....except for that particular one. I think the proper instructions call for dropping the subframe. All my hoses were original but were otherwise in good shape so I decided to just leave it alone. Is seems that particular hose is "remove car from hose, replace hose, re-install car". I too would like to see how others addressed that particular hose.

James, I really appreciate the reply, glad to know I'm in good company. I completely agree, I don't think it can be reached without dropping the subframe and I'm not currently planning to go that far. All my hoses were still soft and probably just fine. The project started because of a coolant drip, I assumed it was a bad hose or hose connection, turned out the radiator intakes hadn't been properly cleaned and the driver side radiator was corroded just enough to drip once in a while. Needless to say it has turned into a larger and more expensive project than just the hoses. All the hoses cost more than the CSF radiators. The factory radiators are no longer cost effective.
