I replaced the passenger side window regulator. I initially disconnected the battery and did disconnect the airbag from the car wiring. When I put the door parts back together the airbag light was on. I tried clearing the code multiple times with a durametric ,but it won�t clear the light on the dash. The code that continues to appear is: 31 ignition circuit-side airbag passenger. I also took the door panel off to check the connection again, and it was tight. Can anyone advise me as to why the code won�t clear, and what should be my next move? Thanks Scott

No direct experience with this however I know the SRS module is very sensitive to resistance. Suggest disconnecting and spraying with electronic cleaner. And, would again disconnect the battery for an extended period (maybe overnight) to see if that helps it clear. Double check that you haven�t pinched the harness anywhere.

Thanks, I will try spraying the contact cleaner. Haven�t tried that yet. This will be the third time taking the door panel off!

I've had a similar airbag warning, only pointing to the driver side. I replaced the airbag module under the center console with a used one and that worked for a month or two. Now I have to clear the code every once in awhile. If you look at the Durametric error code it should indicate the part number.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
